About

I like to play with rocks,

climb trees and make art

in all that I see

Making art from the materials I found around me has always been super gratifying for my spirit.

As a kid, with a handful of twisted grass and sticks in my hand, I'd turn to my mother and be so excited to show her my creation. I have upgraded my materials, and aged a few years, but I still have the same excitement with each finished piece.

The first time I saw a modern, well-done wire wrap, my mind exploded with awe and wonder! I was in such amazement at this style of jewelry! I had to pick it up and look deeper, “Wow! Was this really made with just wire?” My world expanded...

Now, I am extremely excited to share with you all the creations that are channeled though me and the wire!

New years eve of 2013 going into 2014, I was 25 years old and had only made a few pieces of wire art. After a few months of amazing universal synchronicity, I knew with the choices laid out before me, it was time to listen to the message I was receiving to pursue art with dedication, and to never look back.

The signs I received the days before and after were profound enough to set me on a permanent, committed path of creating art with no question that this was what I was supposed to do. (The Greek Myth of Orpheus and Eurydice resonates heavily with me.)

I started calling myself a wire wrapper and made it my passion, my new career. I used what materials I could find for cheap, or in so many blessed situations, the materials gifted to me by friends.

I surrounded myself with my favorite artists and creative friends.

I smiled and always tried to keep my head up and stay positive through some rough times.

Sometimes feeling low, the visions of a successful future fueled me and I gotta say, all the personal support, hugs, loves, likes and comments definitely helped.

Now years later, through the tribulations of what it takes to be an artist, and the years of dedication, I'm so happy to say I'm feeling more blessed than ever.

Earlier in 2020, I had the great honor of being selected as a Finalist in the Saul Bell Design Award competition.

This is one of the honors I consider to be a lifetime career achievement goal.

From all over the world, in all ways of making jewelry, they selected only 5 finalists in the silver category.

This brings me to tears of immense gratitude to have been chosen.

I'm so so grateful for all of you, every single like, love, comment, share - It all has meant the world to me and encouraged me to keep going all these years.

I'm extremely grateful for all of the wonderful and respectful clients, customers, friends and family that have supported me along the way. A special thanks to my fianceé, Alinka Zellner, for always believing in me and working hard for us so we can achieve our greatest potential and dreams.

I want you all to know that you made this possible and we've all brought wire jewelry to a higher level.

I've decided to share a couple HD quality videos on my YouTube channel of this bracelet if you've really wanted to see its mechanism and shine.

Thank you to the awesome team at Rio Grande and the Saul Bell Design Award for your dedication to providing this opportunity for over 20 years.

I've always loved making art. I experimented with so many different mediums of art growing up, but as I entered my early 20's I drifted further away from art in pursuit of a "real job."

As I found my joy at festivals, I felt more and more inspired to make more art.

And wire wraps tickled my brain just right. I dabbled with a few pieces of scrap copper until I moved in with some wonderful artist friends and realized there in fact was a way to make a living making art. After an intense spiritual experience, I dropped everything else and proclaimed I had to make art to feel right on this planet.

New years day 2014 is the day I declared myself a wire wrapper and started on my wire wrapping journey. I fell in and out of it for years until 2017 spirit kicked me back on track (again) and told me to keep going with art and never look back. That's when I got serious with it and made it my everything. I worked on up-leveling everything hard. Started polishing my jewelry, my craft and my business skills.

2018 was a huge year for me with the invention of the bowtie setting. I had no idea it was going to be so well adopted by the community. 🥰

I started sharing more and the universe returned the love.💞

In 2019, I was thrilled to make my most epic bracelet, which was recognized by The Crown Collection and was later selected as a Finalist for the 2020 Saul Bell Design Award. Both goals I had set as my 5 & 10 year goals when I started. Dreams do come true 🙏 and sometimes even faster.

I'm happy to be where I am, I appreciate you all for the support I couldn't do it without the awesome community we have together

Let's all keep going with wire wraps! There is still so much to discover and make.
